$ARCON Token
The planned ecosystem token for Arcon. Treasury revenue exists today; the token and buyback mechanism do not yet.
$ARCON is the planned native token of the Arcon protocol. It does not exist on chain yet: there is no deployed contract, no presale, and no allocation table published. What does exist today is a live protocol treasury on both Ethereum and Arc that accrues ETH from two on chain tax flows on every launched token, on either chain. $ARCON is designed to be the instrument through which that combined treasury revenue is returned to the ecosystem via a recurring buyback and burn program, rather than through inflationary emissions or discretionary off chain spending.
Treasury revenue that exists today
Unlike many launch platforms that promise a future token before any fee flow is live, Arcon's treasury already collects ETH on every swap from the moment a token launches, on Ethereum and on Arc. The revenue is small per trade but real, on chain, and verifiable through the TaxCollected events emitted by each chain's hook contract. Combined totals are visible on the platform stats page.
| Revenue flow | When it applies | Rate | Destination |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anti-snipe tax | Non-whitelisted buys in the first 5 seconds after launch | 60% flat | Protocol treasury |
| Sell cycle positions 4 and 5 | Every token, on the 4th and 5th sell in each 8-trade cycle | 7% and 5% | Protocol treasury |
The creator keeps 100% of every other tax position. There is no launch fee and no LP share retained by the protocol.
The treasury wallet address is fixed in the deployed hook configuration. It never receives a cut of ordinary buy tax, never receives post-snipe cooldown tax (which goes entirely to the creator), and never holds any share of a launch's liquidity position, because 100% of every LP position is burned at creation.
Design intent: buyback and burn
Intended mechanism
Treasury ETH in, $ARCON burned
Once the $ARCON token contract is deployed, a portion of accumulated treasury ETH is intended to fund recurring open market purchases of $ARCON followed by a permanent burn. The goal is to tie platform usage directly to token scarcity: every snipe tax collected and every treasury sell tier executed increases the ETH available for the next buyback cycle.
The buyback program is deliberately designed around existing revenue rather than token emissions. Arcon does not plan to mint $ARCON to fund operations or distribute it as launch incentives. The scarcity thesis is that Launchpad usage, and the trading activity it generates, produces ETH that flows back into $ARCON supply reduction over time.
What $ARCON is not
- It is not a governance token for launched project tokens. Creators retain full control of their own contracts and tax settings.
- It is not required to launch a token or to use the Hook Builder workspace.
- It is not a fee discount token. The factory charges no launch fee today, and creators pay no protocol cut on ordinary trading tax.
- It does not entitle holders to a share of individual project creator earnings. Creator tax revenue flows exclusively to the creator through the chain's fee contract, on both Ethereum and Arc.
Relationship to the hook template library
As Arcon expands from a single shared hook to a library of selectable templates, each new hook type may introduce its own treasury routing rules. $ARCON is intended to be the common sink for protocol level revenue across all templates: whichever hook a creator selects at launch, any treasury directed tax in that hook's design would accrue to the same pool that funds the buyback program. The exact split per template will be published when each template ships.
What must ship before $ARCON
The token contract, initial supply allocation, and the on chain buyback executor are all outstanding work. Before any of that ships, the following must be true:
- The treasury balance and its revenue sources are documented and auditable (this page, plus on chain event logs).
- The buyback percentage, frequency, and minimum treasury threshold are defined and published before the first purchase executes.
- The token contract is deployed with a fixed total supply and no hidden mint function.
See the roadmap for sequencing relative to the hook template library and multi chain factory rollout.
Status
$ARCON is planned, not live. Do not interact with any token claiming to be $ARCON until an address is published on this page and verified on chain. When the contract ships, this page will be updated with the contract address, total supply, and a link to the buyback transaction history.
